- Students take courses in the compulsory catalog that are not a mandatory part of the regular curriculum of the program in which they are studying, nor have they been chosen as an elective (compulsory) course.
- The courses are to be completed with the corresponding examinations, as a rule, the successful completion of the module examination.
- The AISA Study Project includes the completion of a project task (assigned by the AISA scientists) as well as the presentation of a poster in the context of a joint poster session.
- In addition, students choose one module worth 6 ECTS from the compulsory elective catalog. Here, crediting of a module already completed in the regular course of study to the extent of max. 6 ECTS is possible, provided it is one of the modules from the compulsory elective catalog.
- A further prerequisite for obtaining the certificate is a presentation on a self-selected topic from the subject area of the course completed in the elective course.
- Only one Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) can be completed. If you are interested in further courses, it is recommended that you take a Diploma of Advanced Studies, in which the courses completed so far in the CAS can be credited.
