Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) – 36 ECTS

Regulations

Please account for the (strict) registration deadlines:

October 1st for the winter term.
April 1st for the summer term.

Registration will be reenabled June 2, 2024.

  • Students take courses in the compulsory catalog that are not a compulsory part of the regular curriculum of the program they are studying in and are not selected as an elective (compulsory) offer. Suppose the regular curriculum no longer allows two courses to be selected from the compulsory catalog. In that case, one course may be replaced by an offering from the elective catalog after consulting with those responsible for the certificate program.
  • The courses are to be completed with the corresponding examinations, as a rule, the successful completion of the module examination.
  • The AISA Study Project includes the completion of a project task (assigned by the AISA scientists) as well as the presentation of a poster on it in the context of a joint poster session.
  • In addition, students choose two modules of 6 ECTS each from the compulsory elective catalog. Here, crediting a module already completed in the regular course of study of max. 6 ECTS is possible, provided it is one of the modules from the compulsory elective catalog.
  • Another prerequisite for receiving the certificate is a presentation on a self-selected topic from the subject area of the courses completed in the elective.

  • Interdisciplinary AI Software Project (6 ECTS) [ab Sommersemester 2023]
  • Critically Reflecting on Intelligent Systems in Society (3 ECTS)
  • AISA Study Project (3 ECTS)
